Zim is probably very close to starting to sell their own, Rhode Island -built ILCAs; I was actually expecting them to get their final go-ahead before Far East.

So, from this year on, we will have ten ILCA builders operating at the same time. That’s as many as there were in the late 1970s, when the production rate was about six times as high as the current one

Maybe the current policy is simply a kind of a backlash to the pre-2019 situation, where one builder had control over 90 % of the market.
