Looking for the best way to remove the broken screw from the bailer. Tried a screw remover, didn't work. Punch thru? i don't want to create a problem with leaking.
That is a painful situation, but not impossible. I would not try to punch it through, you will almost certainly damage the surrounding gelcoat and fiberglass.
I honestly am not sure, but maybe try getting a super sharp and tough drill bit that is slightly smaller than the screw shaft is and drill it out? Just a guess but by no means is this a recommendation. Somebody else here must have done this repair at some point.
