My old mast isold, my boat don't have a no. the anid. is getting in bad shape . What can I do besides cleaning with soap and water and waxing? New mast are expensive.

For the mast and spars, a non-abrasive cleaner that's anodized aluminum safe. A non-abrasive scrub pad ... they make a No Scratch Scotch Brite. Lots of stuff on the car and boat market for this. Or you might be able to figure out what their key ingedrient is and get the same household product for 1/4 the cost.
