Gear Swap and rigging party laser

I am planning a gear swap and rigging equip party for local Colorado Laser dudes. Casual early season get together for old timers and trying to get the new owners excited about our upcoming season. Anyone done this before, any suggestions or ideas would be welcomed

Been the part of a rigging equipment party before. You need to have someone who really knows what they are talking about and is willing to share. This was in the late 90s before the equipment upgrades, and you needed someone to physically demonstrate the rigging tricks. A guy who had previously campaigned joined the local club and agreed to hold a rigging clinic. Literally every Laser sailor in town went to the West Marine store and asked for Spectra line. They took the hint and started carrying it.
