silva compass repair

I have an old Silva compass mounted on the spider from APS. Last weekend after a particularly rough capsize the assembly that holds the card and lubber lines came off the pin.

So it still points north, but sometimes the compass card is upside down -- you might think that's ok since my boat is often upside down also, but at those times I'm usually not trying to use the compass. :(

I figure if I can get the compass bulb out of the black plastic housing I might be able to fix it.
Anybody know how to take one of these things apart?

Send it back to Silva if it's still under warranty. Bin it if it isn't. This style of compass can't be repaired (the old man was a Compass Adjuster and also used to repair compasses)
