Video: Rigging In The Dark... For An Early Departure

Been feeling for my Laser brethren during these winter months so here's a video from a long day of sailing I had yesterday out here in Northern California.

One of the cool things about the Russian River area is that even though there can be no wind on a bigger scale in our area... wind that is normally driven by larger highs and lows... there can be wind on the river, driven completely by the local, diurnal, sun driven changes in pressure.

Not only is there onshore wind during the day, but there's significant offshore winds as well... occurring at night and in the early morning. This offers a cool window into some sunrise sailing, if you are willing to get up early enough.

Here's the video.
