sailing by the lee

Can someone tell me how to sail by the lee correctly
With a following wind and your main abeam (all the way out), steer so that the wind is coming slightly over the windward side of the boat. Watch out for the sail to luff or go slack, as that means the wind is going behind it and a jibe is imminent. If it does jibe, don't stop it, prepare to balance the boat, and don't drop the tiller.
In addition, as long as you're by the lee, heel the boat to windward far enough to get a balanced helm. That is, heeled to leeward or flat, you will feel strong weather helm, pressure on the rudder, which represents drag. You should feel that pressure relieve as you heel to windward.
